Letters to Our Daughters - February 2014

Dear Bella,

The greatest joy in my life is being your mommy. This isn't exactly the way I imagined I would be raising you, but I want you to know how very much I love you and that I will always be here for you no matter what. Please know I am doing the very best I can to give you the life you deserve. Even though I have to work a lot, know that you are with me every moment of every day. Everything I do is for you, baby girl, and I wouldn't have it any other way. These past three years have been the best, and most difficult of my life and even though it's hard being just the two of us, I know the relationship we have is because of that. I am enjoying every minute of watching you grow into this beautiful little girl. You amaze me every single day. I love your silly little songs you sing and hearing you laugh. I could sit for hours just watching you play. You are mommy's whole world and I cherish the bond we have. You are the smartest three-year-old I know and while I wish time could stand still, I cannot wait to see the brilliant things you do as you grow up.

I love you most Monkey!

Love,
Mommy

  2. such pretty blue eyes! I really love the detail shot of the tiara, it speaks so much of childhood, I think.

  3. You're letter brought a few tears to my eyes... I'm the product of a single mom (for a while at least), too. Now as an adult, I total get my mom's (and your) sacrifices. I know your daughter will appreciate reading how you felt about them at the time. :) But enough seriousness! I think my favorite photo is the tiara shot.
